Francophone participants of the GIZ's Capacity Development Program for Lecturers and Managers of the Green Colleges met in June 2023 for a workshop on "practice-oriented training," implemented in collaboration with the Centre for Rural Development's partner, the Peter-Lenné-Schule.
During the week, participants engaged in group exercises and went on excursions to both the Wilmers Gaerten in Brandenburg as well as the Peter-Lenné-Schule, experiencing how Wilmers Gaerten approaches sustainable agriculture and how Peter-Lenné-Schule engages on practice-based learning in topics like irrigation.
A majority anglophone group came to Berlin in October 2023 and took part in the same workshop.
