The participation of the African Green Store Network (AGSN) at the 2025 Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA 2025) was a great success. It's always wonderful to see collaboration and support from organizations such as #SLE, #ERASMUS+, and #HumboldtUniversityofBerlin.

AGSN Shines at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2025 as members of the Network from eight partner institutions and four African countries (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Kenya, and Nigeria) attended the GFFA 2025 in grand style, with support from the Erasmus+ project and Seminar für Ländliche Entwicklung (SLE), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. This year's event, which took place at the City Cube, Berlin from Thursday, 16th January to Saturday 18th, 2025, focused on the theme: "Farming a Sustainable Bio-Economy" and revolved around four central issues: producing biomass sustainably, using biomass sustainably, strengthening innovation, and creating a fair framework.

AGSN's participation aimed to enhance network visibility through networking and exchanges with a wide range of international actors in the field of agriculture. As one of the 25 exhibitors presenting creative approaches and forward-looking ideas, AGSN's exhibition stand emphasized strengthening Innovation: Promoting Communication. The network showcased its achievements in agricultural sustainability, youth engagement, and agroecology, attracting most visitors' keen interest.
The highlight of the activities for AGSN was the visit of Jochen Flasbarth, Secretary of State BMZ to the AGSN stand. Jochen Flasbarth interacted with AGSN representatives and expressed his delight in learning about the network's initiatives.

Apart from the exhibition, AGSN members attended various high-level and expert panel sessions to gain valuable insights into the forum's four main themes. The event provided AGSN the opportunity to connect with various groups and key players globally, thereby expanding its network base for future collaborations.
Members of the team representing the network were thrilled by the opportunities presented and found the sessions engaging and valuable through this year's event platform.
